Job Description & Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize process design for offshore oil & gas facilities, including separation, compression, and utility systems
- Prepare and review process deliverables such as PFDs, P&IDs, process datasheets, and design basis
- Perform hydraulic calculations, line sizing, and equipment rating using process simulation software
- Ensure designs comply with international standards (API, ASME, ISO) and meet HSE requirements
- Conduct design reviews, participate in HAZOP/SIL workshops, and support project risk assessments
- Provide technical support to procurement, fabrication, and commissioning teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Process Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in process design for offshore/marine projects
- Proficiency in process simulation tools such as Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of process safety, relief system design, and optimization techniques
- Previous experience in large EPC projects preferred
