Job Description
Individual co-works with Equipment Engineer , Process Engineer and reports to Process Section Manager. He/She is responsible on handling on-duty task, deliver production process running with data driven analysis, supporting process quality, productivity and yield with correct SOP. In addition, He/She will work under rotating shifts in a 24/7 fab environment.
Individual key responsibilities:
1. Process monitoring & control: Monitor process performance, SPC trends and key parameter to maintain stability
2. Process troubleshooting: Investigate abnormal wafer runs, excursions, defects and process drift.
3. Root Cause finding: Identify why abnormalites occur and implement corrective actions
4. Process optimization: Optimize process parameters to improve uniformity, CD and process window
5. New process/product qualification: Support process qual, engineering runs, experiments & technology transfer
6. Data Analysis: Conduct DOE, analyze process data and establish robust process condition
7. Equipment interaction: Work closely with Equipment Engineers to differentiate process-related or equipment-related issues.
8. Cross-functional work: Work closely with Equipment, Integration, Quality, Manufacturing and TD teams.
Requirements
1. Strong understanding of semiconductor process flows
2. Identify process abnormalities and excursions by applying 5 Why / Fishbone / FMEA for process troubleshooting
3. Well interpret SPC data analysis by understanding process capability Cpk, trend analysis and correlation.
4. Optimize etch process by understanding DOE & process parameters
5. Control process by monitoring critical dimensions and process control limits
6. Understand the mechanism of how process drift impact on yield loss and link defects back to process condition
7. Understand how equipment conditions affect process results, chamber matching and drift.
8. Learn on how to be competent in engineering and people by enhancing problem solving skills, communication skills and teamworking.
