Maybank Private Singapore is seeking an experienced Wealth Planner to develop and deliver comprehensive wealth planning strategies for our UHNW clients. The role focuses on structuring tailored solutions across insurance, trusts, foundations, family offices, and corporate vehicles to meet clients long-term wealth preservation and succession objectives.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Relationship Managers to engage clients, identify wealth planning opportunities, and develop bespoke strategies aligned to their objectives.
- Provide technical guidance and conduct regular training sessions for Relationship Managers on product developments and market updates within the wealth planning space.
- Collaborate with external trustees to facilitate the establishment and administration of trust structures.
- Work closely with internal insurance specialists and external brokers to deliver holistic wealth and legacy planning solutions.
- Build and maintain a strong network of advisors to support complex client structuring needs.
Requirements
- 10 to 15 years experience as wealth planner within a private bank or as a Trust Manager/Officer in a trust company
- Strong expertise in offshore jurisdictions and wealth structuring tools, including trusts, foundations, family offices, and corporate sturctures.
- In-depth knowledge of tax, legal and regulatory developments impacting clients wealth and succession planning.
- Proven ability to advise UHNW clients on complex cross-border wealth planning matters.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Accounting, Finance or a related discipline. STEP qualification will be an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and Relationship Managers
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required; fluency in Bahasa Indonesia will be an added advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage both clients and internal stakeholders.
