Role Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional to join our investment team in a Private Equity – Fixed Income – Research role. This position is responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis across fixed income markets while supporting private equity investment strategies and portfolio management decisions.

The successful candidate will analyze macroeconomic trends, credit markets, and industry dynamics to identify investment opportunities and risks. Responsibilities include performing credit analysis, building financial models, evaluating debt instruments, and supporting due diligence processes for private equity transactions. The role also involves monitoring portfolio performance, preparing investment memos, and presenting insights to senior investment professionals.

In addition, the candidate will collaborate with deal teams, portfolio managers, and external stakeholders to support investment execution and optimize portfolio outcomes. This role requires strong quantitative skills, financial acumen, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable investment insights.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of fixed income instruments, credit markets, and private equity investment strategies

• Proven experience in investment research, credit analysis, or financial analysis

• Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills (e.g., DCF, LBO, credit models)

• Ability to analyze macroeconomic trends and assess their impact on financial markets

• Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ)

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare investment reports and presentations

• Knowledge of risk management and portfolio construction principles

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field

• CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or progress toward certification is highly desirable

• Experience in investment banking, asset management, private equity, or hedge funds is preferred

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• High level of integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment
