Role Description
The Associate/Manager will be responsible for supporting and managing portfolio companies within the private equity asset management team. This role involves overseeing financial performance, driving operational improvements, and ensuring value creation across investments. The individual will collaborate closely with senior management of portfolio companies, internal investment teams, and external stakeholders to align strategies with fund objectives. The position requires a balance of strategic insight, financial expertise, and strong execution skills to optimize long-term returns.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor financial performance of portfolio companies, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of operational and financial data to support strategic initiatives.
- Work with portfolio company leadership to drive performance improvement and growth strategies.
- Support exit strategies, including preparation for divestments and investor communications.
- Develop detailed reports and presentations for senior management and investment committees.
- Ensure compliance with reporting standards and fund requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- 36 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or asset management.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
- Proven track record of working with portfolio companies or managing investments.
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail in a dynamic environment.
