Job Description

A regional private bank is looking for an experienced Private Banking Operations professional to lead and oversee daily operational activities across a broad range of wealth management products. The role requires strong hands-on leadership to provide guidance and direction to the team while ensuring smooth operations and effective operational controls.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee daily Private Banking Operations activities, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions.
Provide hands-on leadership and guidance to the operations team, ensuring effective management of daily workflows and operational issues.
Handle end-to-end investment processing, including trade booking, confirmation, settlement, reconciliation and exception handling across wealth management products.
Perform reconciliations and controls, including cash, positions and transaction monitoring, and investigate and resolve discrepancies and breaks.
Process deposits, remittances and asset transfers.
Handle payment processing activities in SWIFT Alliance, including the release of SWIFT payments.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce operational risks.
Support ad hoc projects, reporting and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor degree with min 8 years of relevant banking experiences in private banking or wealth management operations.
Strong knowledge of investment products, including bonds, equities, mutual funds, structured products (DCIs/FCNs), structured deposits and private equity funds.
Prior team leadership or supervisory experience, with the ability to provide hands-on guidance and direction.
