Private Banker

Senior Private Banker – Southeast Asia Coverage As a senior private banker, you will be responsible for acquiring, advising, and growing ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) and high-net-worth (HNW) clients from Southeast Asia (ASEAN markets). Based in Singapore, you will serve as a trusted advisor to wealthy families, entrepreneurs, and family offices across the region, delivering holistic wealth management solutions while ensuring long-term relationship value. At ED/MD level, you are expected to lead business origination, mentor junior bankers, and represent the SE Asia market within the firm's senior leadership.

Key ResponsibilitiesClient Acquisition & Relationship Management

• Build and manage a portfolio of UHNW/HNW clients and family offices from Southeast Asia.
• Act as a trusted advisor, providing bespoke wealth management, investment, lending, and wealth planning solutions.
• Develop deep, multi-generational relationships with client families.

Wealth & Investment Advisory

• Deliver tailored portfolio strategies, discretionary mandates, and alternative investment opportunities.
• Provide guidance on succession planning, tax and estate structuring (in partnership with specialists).
• Coordinate cross-border solutions, leveraging Singapore as the premier Asian wealth hub.

Business Growth & Leadership

• Drive revenue growth and profitability in the SE Asia private banking business.
• Lead origination initiatives, represent SE Asia in senior management forums, and contribute to overall strategy.
• Mentor and develop junior relationship managers and assistants.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to Singapore, ASEAN, and international regulatory standards.
• Maintain the highest standards of risk management, ethics, and fiduciary duty.
• Act as a senior escalation point for client or compliance matters.

Qualifications & Experience

• 12–15+ years of experience in private banking/wealth management with a focus on Southeast Asia clients.
• Proven track record of business origination and management of UHNW/HNW client portfolios.
• In-depth understanding of wealth management products, investment solutions, and family governance structures.
• Excellent cross-cultural communication and relationship skills.
• Fluency in English; Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia, Thai, or other regional languages a plus.
