- To maintain and operate Offset, Digital and Silk Screen printing machines. Cross training on several printing type will be planned for flexibility.
- Perform set-ups and the optimizations of printing machines to produce quality printed sheets based on customers specification and requirements.
- Strict compliance to the production plan and schedule to ensure timely completion.
- Collects the Printing Folder and checks the JRS, Epson Proof and Sample Card (if available) and verify the specifications required (i.e. U-Code).
- Prepares all the materials required such as printing cores, plates, inks including the mixing of ink.
- Set-ups may require the removal and installation of plates, foils, blankets, inks and other equipment part required including cleaning of materials and equipments.
- Examines printed results for ink density, accuracy of design and registration to conform to the required artwork based from the Epson Proof, Master Copy or a Sample Card.
- To perform first level analysis and optimize the set-up should there be mismatches between the printed sheets and references.
- Makes adjustments to the press throughout the production run to maintain specific registration and color density.
- Auto-controls and checklists have to be strictly performed according to the frequencies set.
- Performs periodic autonomous preventive maintenance as scheduled.
- To be highly involved in the participation of improvement teams & propose improvements and solutions.
- Practices and maintains 7S at all times within the shop floor.
- Perform other duties as assigned by his/her superior.
