The Principal System Analyst establishes critical relationships with Business stakeholders in order to understand and address existing and new IT application requirement. This role will provide specialist advice and IT solutions to support the overall success of the business through digital enablement or application development.
Job Description:
- Development, maintenance and support of local/regional applications
- Application lifecycle management (support, bug fixing, enhancements)
- Service ownership of all regional and local applications for Air & Sea, Contract Logistics, Road and all enabling functions
- Business Consultancy, requirement analysis, solution design and advice on digital enablement and application development
- Business relationship management - interpret strategic objectives and execute as required (if required)
- Manage/oversee IT Projects to ensure they are executed within scope
Requirements:
- 15 + years of relevant functional experience
- Relevant IT/Business related domain & qualifications
- Business requirement analysis, solution design and technical development capability
- Highly developed ability and proven experience in interpreting strategic IT related initiatives and aligning to business/commercial objectives
- Conflict resolution, influencing and communication skills
- Ability to identify root causes of issues and gaps and provide relevant solutions
- Adopt a customer-first approach, prioritizing customer needs and expectations in all operations. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering reliable, timely, and cost-effective IT solutions
- Consistently achieving best performance, driving operational excellence, and meeting or exceeding KPIs
