About the Role
Deliver holistic and integrated technology solutions that empower the Agency Force and help them remain competitive in the Singapore market.
Key objectives include:
. Enhancing agency productivity through the implementation of innovative technology initiatives.
. Supporting the Agency Force in mastering sales tools to optimize performance.
. Driving business growth by leveraging technology to create a more cohesive and integrated system for the Agency Force.
Continuously improves state-of-the-art solutions, such as the interactive Point of Sales (iPoS) application and the mobile super-app, iSMART, designed to help AIA Insurance Representatives nurture deeper relationships with customers and integrate cross-functional capabilities into a single, seamless experience.
The role will also work with the Distribution Digital Enablement team, which assists the Agency Force and Partnership Channel in navigating the suite of applications, ensuring seamless adoption and effective use of these tools.
The role involves providing comprehensive IT solutions and support to the Agency Force, enabling them to remain competitive in the Singapore market. The candidate will play a key role in developing, enhancing, and maintaining sales tools and systems to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and drive business growth.
IT Solutions Development
- Provide innovative IT solutions to empower the Agency Force.
- Transform ideas into functional Sales Tools applications.
- Continuously improve the usability of the interactive Point of Sales (iPoS) application to increase electronic submission of new cases.
System Enhancements
- Support agency operations by enhancing iSMART+, iRecruit, CDA systems.
- Implement self-help functions as part of Ease of Doing Business (EODB) initiatives.
Training and Support
- Conduct training sessions and gather feedback from the Agency Force and Agency Sales Team.
- Address queries, troubleshoot, and resolve system-related issues effectively.
Project management
- Oversee the initiation of project planning with stakeholders in developing business requirements.
- Ensure business requirements and walk-through sessions with stakeholders are conducted, so requirements and expectations are aligned.
Operations Support
- Coordinate Level 1 sales support activities for front-end applications used by the Distribution Force.
- Provide technical troubleshooting for iPoS-related issues.
Vendor, Inventory & Budget Management
- Manage agency system needs, including:
- Vendor management.
- Encryption and DNC Register compliance.
- Access control for agency systems.
- Administer Agency IT budget (hardware & software expenditures, data communications & equipment, etc)
Communication Management
- Coordinate communication channels for the Agency Force, including:
- AIA branded email communications
- LCD Broadcast System.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Degree in Business / Computer Science / Technology or related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of experience, preferably in a similar role.
- Experience in the insurance industry will be an added advantage.
Specific Skills (Knowledge, skills and competencies/ abilities)
- Strong IT solutions development and project management skills.
- Experience in training, troubleshooting, and system enhancements.
- Proficiency in managing communication platforms and vendor relationships.
- Ability to manage budgets and coordinate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
