Principal / Senior Software Test Engineer

Our client, a Singapore-based automotive tech company building AI-powered computing platforms for software-defined vehicles, is looking for an experienced Software Test Engineer to drive integration, verification, and quality assurance for next-generation smart cockpit software stacks.

What you'll do:

Develop software test plans based on the product roadmap
Analyze functional/non-functional requirements and define chip and software testability requirements
Design test strategies for Smart Cockpit software stacks on Android or Linux
Run product performance and user experience testing, optimizing for energy efficiency
Conduct quality assessments across product delivery stages
Identify risks in products and processes, and drive continuous testing improvements

What you'll bring:

Bachelor's + 5 years, or Master's + 3 years, in testing (IT, Electronics, Automation, Software, Communications, or related)
Familiarity with low-level software testing (Bootloader, UFS/DDR, high-speed/low-speed buses, functional safety) or multimedia software testing (Camera, GPU, Display, Audio, Video)
Exposure to intelligent cockpit software stack testing chip IP testing experience a plus
Familiarity with Android/Linux/QNX and user scenarios preferred
Functional safety and virtualization testing experience a plus
Strong technical vision, analytical skills, and ability to lead team technical advancement
