Join our dynamic team as a Principal/Senior Engineer specializing in Etch, where you will lead the development and optimization of innovative etch processes essential for semiconductor fabrication. Ideal for individuals seeking to leverage their technical expertise in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance etch process formulations and methodologies to adhere to quality standards. Analyze technical data and performance metrics to ensure etch efficiency, concentrating on non-uniformity, defectivity, and removal rate stability. Establish and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) for the etch module. Integrate the capabilities of etch equipment and material systems to meet technology specifications. Lead the creation and optimization of recipes for etch tools, ensuring precise process monitoring and enhancing recipe quality. Drive Continuous Improvement Plans (CIPs) aimed at boosting process performance and productivity. Collaborate within cross-functional teams to support organizational objectives. Serve as a technical subject matter expert in etch, providing advice and training to junior engineers. Tackle complex technical challenges within the etch domain. Contribute to the development of intellectual property through participation as an inventor on patents related to etch technology.
Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Chemical, Materials Science Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in the wafer fabrication industry, particularly in etch processes. Strong analytical skills combined with effective project management abilities. An organized and systematic approach to problem-solving, with familiarity in Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE), and FMEA.
