As the Operations Central Team (OCT) Dry Etch Tool Installation Qualification (TIQ) Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be building growth mindset, facilitate and drive improvement on Micron TIQ engineering globally, driving global business processes, and enabling the leverage of world-wide resources to deliver industry benchmark methods. And you are also responsible for leading the activities to achieve the Best in Class (BIC) TIQ performance (cost and schedule) across the network and industry. You are encouraged to work closely with the key stakeholders (sites, central team partners and suppliers) to identify areas of opportunities and analyze their performance-to-plan data to improve TIQ performance. Responsibilities
As a Principal Engineer, Dry Etch Tool Installation Qualification for OCT, you will be considered an area domain expert in Dry Etch and will work as a site partner with Micron FABs globally and supplier partner with suppliers.
. Understand short-term and long-term Cost goals within Front End and ensure alignment to corporate business goals. Initiate and drive cross-functional programs to achieve department business goals
. Facilitate the definition of program scope, goals, deliverables, timeline and resource requirements in collaboration with sponsors and stakeholders
. Manage the definition, refinement, and implementation of core methodologies and tools for business process including reporting
. Collaborate with project teams to understand the business value of projects and programs in place and how they contribute to BIC plan.
. Provide program and project performance updates periodically with communication across functional groups.
. Ensure strategic roadmaps with key metrics for Schedule and Cost are created, maintained, and tracked to latest BIC targets.
. Lead and continuously improve the TIQ business processes, continual improvement project and BKM alignment.
. Prioritize and lead numerous projects based on Fab and corporate objectives. Move projects effectively through project lifecycle - definition, planning, implementation, acceptance and review.
. Facilitate and drive global peer groups to align strategy and roadmap to achieve area objectives. Build metrics with clear line of sight to strategic objectives. Drive alignment to demonstrate performance improvement and hold accountability to those decisions.
. Review and lead current Micron Sites TIQ performance, identify gaps and opportunities to achieve BIC performance.
. Lead TIQ alignment and improvement to meet Micron TIQ objectives. Align procedures and define requirements based on technical assessment and lesson learns.
. Drive continuous improvement in multiple aspects such as safety, Capex, cash cost, equipment performance, sustainability, new technology introduction, first of a kind tool enablement and etc.
. Develop and improve Micron TIQ documentations when is needed, includes TIQ specification, TIQ configuration and related process qualification data.
