Principal / Senior Associate

We are looking for a principal or senior associate who can independently engage in value creation and monitoring of the portfolio companies. Our team manages several funds and investment holding subsidiaries and some will reach fund maturity soon. A member in this position will also engage in exit processes of the portfolio companies.

Job Description :

. Contact and visit the portfolio companies outside Singapore regularly to obtain financial data, KPI performances and other necessary information to monitor performances and conduct KPI reviews of existing portfolio companies

. Prepare internal reporting documents as well as quarterly and annual reports to investors on the portfolio companies

. Engage in value creation of the portfolio companies and group companies

. Support the portfolio companies to prepare investment memos and other necessary documents and data for exit processes of the portfolio companies

. Work with financial advisors and manage and execute exit transaction processes

. Manage ad hoc matters and projects

Requirements :

. Capability to conduct high level business verbally and in writing both in Japanese and English, to interface with Japanese investors and regulations

. Minimum 3-5 years of working experiences in fund management or management consulting, investment bank or securities, preferably with similar experiences in private equity, venture capital or other investment business

. Excellent Excel and Power point skills

. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills

. Willingness to work with a small team with entrepreneurship mind set
