Job Description
The Principal Project Director is responsible for the overseeing, managing and implementing multiple large IT projects (Each project 30 people or more and valued at least at 10 mil SGD) with quality, within scope and to ensure deliverables are on time and conform to processes and standards meeting customer's requirements.
What will you do
- Takes ownership to ensure an effective program with high-quality deliverables by overseeing the successful execution in large digital and AI focused transformation programs and project
- Proactively identifies inefficiencies or other problems, takes the lead for rectification as part of the overall program
- Ensures alignment across all multiple project streams, managing interdependencies (internally, with client and 3rd parties), tracking strategic objectives, resolving cross-functional risks, and engaging senior stakeholders while having responsibilities for building a fun program culture
- Manage and influence value realization at the overall program level, ensuring that track-level efforts roll up into measurable business outcomes
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess:
- More than 15 years of experience in Project and Program management
- Managed and delivered at least 5 large IT projects (Each project 30 people or more and valued at least at 10 mil SGD)
- Able to navigate conflicting priorities effectively within a complex stakeholder environment
- Enjoys bringing structure to unstructured environments
- Being collaborative, ensuring we both do the right things as well as doing things right
- Proven expertise in enterprise program management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, Prince2, MSP, SAFe, PMI PgMP, Agile at scale, ITIL, TOGAF)
- Strong command of program-level planning and tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Portfolio, Smartsheet, MS Project, Confluence)
- Ability to structure and govern programs with cross-functional and cross-organizational components
- Experience in benefits realization management and financial tracking at portfolio or program level
- Understanding of enterprise IT systems, AI/GenAI integration considerations, and regulatory compliance frameworks
- Familiarity with risk and issue management across large-scale digital transformation programs
- Strong stakeholder engagement, presentation, and reporting skills (including C-level dashboards and steering decks)
- Analytical mindset
- Excellent leadership abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
