We're hiring a Principal Product Manager to own a core area of the Adlumin XDR/MDR portfolio — its strategy, roadmap, and delivery, leading initiatives in AI DLC model. N-able PMs are full-stack PMs. You'll partner deeply with engineering on what gets built and why, but the job doesn't stop at the backlog. You're expected to know the threat landscape, the competition, and where the technology is heading, and to bring that back into decisions others can act on. You'll be in front of partners and customers regularly and trusted to run your area with limited supervision.

What You'll Do

• Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for your area of the Adlumin XDR/MDR platform, plus the full lifecycle from ideation to launch: market research, product definition, roadmap planning, and go-to-market.
• Translate detection, response, and security operations problems into clear product requirements — and defend the tradeoffs behind them.
• Partner day to day with engineering, data science, and the SOC to deliver capabilities that measurably improve detection quality, response time, and analyst efficiency.
• Run continuous discovery: talk to MSP partners, internal IT teams, SOC analysts, and prospects; separate what people ask for from what they actually need.
• Maintain a live view of the competitive landscape (XDR, MDR, SIEM, EDR, SecOps) and the trends reshaping it, and turn it into positioning and roadmap decisions rather than slideware.
• Define and track the success metrics for your area — adoption, retention, efficacy, unit economics — and act when they move the wrong way.
• Work with product marketing, sales, and service delivery on launches, enablement, and pricing/packaging inputs.
• Apply AI across your workflow and the product: use AI-assisted development practices to move from problem to spec to working software faster, and set the bar for how the team does this.
• Mentor junior product managers and raise the bar for craft across the team.
  
  

What You'll Bring

• 6+ years in product management, with meaningful time on technical B2B or security products.
• A driver's operating style. Self-motivated, comfortable with ambiguity, effective under loose supervision. You decide, you communicate, you follow through.
• Strong product sense. Good instincts for what to build, what to cut, and what good looks like for a security practitioner under time pressure.
• Breadth across cybersecurity, with depth in at least two domains(cloud security, identity, endpoint, network, email, vulnerability management)
  
  

Big Pluses

• Hands-on experience with XDR, SIEM, SOAR, EDR, or SOC operations - as a product manager, practitioner, or analyst.
• Security certifications (Security+, CISSP, cloud security certs) or a background in security engineering or incident response.
• Experience building AI-powered product capabilities in a security context.
• Practical experience using or experimenting with AI DLC approaches and tooling - spec-driven development frameworks such as GitHub Spec Kit, AI coding agents, prototype-first workflows.
