Principal Process Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct Process engineering and design, including process configuration and optimization studies
• Perform Process simulations, prepare Process/Utility Flow Diagrams, Heat and Material Balance, and Utility Balances
• Create Piping and Instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
• Prepare datasheets for process equipment and instruments
• Conduct relief and blowdown studies, analyze relief load scenario, and calculate flare network requirements
• Perform process calculations for equipment sizing and line hydraulics
• Create Process design philosophies and operating guides
• Collaborate on Concept Studies, Front- End Engineering Design (FEED) and detailed design projects

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering
• At least 12 years of relevant engineering design experience
• Good experience with onshore Oil and Gas processing facilities, and Offshore Platform projects.
• Prior Middle East Project experience is essential
• In-depth understanding of process design, heat and material balance, and P&IDs
• Preference will be given to candidates with Lead / Area Lead Engineer experience
• Familiarity with international codes and standards, software and tools
