Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct a needs assessment to determine the scope and priority areas for clinical pharmacy services
- Develop implementation plan for identified clinical services
- Establish standardized workflow and protocols for clinical services
- Define key performance indicators to monitor the effective=ness and impact of clinical services
- Identify staffing needs for each clinical service
- Work closely with clinicians and nurses, and other healthcare to ensure seamless implementation of pharmacy clinical service
- Oversee pharmacist development through structured training, competency assessments and career progressions plans to ensure sustainable pipeline of well-trained clinical pharmacist
- Establish a competency framework to evaluate pharmacists clinical skills, knowledge and decision-making abilities
- Oversee and organize regular clinical case discussions, journal clubs etc to promote continuous professional development
- Develop workforce succession plan to ensure adequate staffing of clinical pharmacists across all services
- Collaborate with operational pharmacy leaders to ensure smooth integration of clinical and operational workflows
- Provide clinical input for formulary development
- Advocate for cost-effective prescribing practice without compromising patient outcomes
- Demonstrate strong clinical knowledge, decision-making, and patient care standards
- Provide regular feedback to team members to promote professional growth and job satisfaction
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
