Principal Network Automation Engineer

I am partnering with a well-established financial institution in Singapore to find a heavily automation-focused Principal Network Engineer. You will own the end-to-end architecture and engineering of a massive global estate spanning Data Center, Campus, and SD-WAN networks.

This isn't a run the bank operational role. You will be building modern, high-availability fabrics from the ground up and driving a major transition toward Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

The Tech Stack & Mandate:

• Data Center Architecture: Designing multi-vendor spine-leaf fabrics (EVPN/VXLAN, Cisco ACI, Arista, Juniper) integrating L4-L7 services.
• SD-WAN & SASE: Leading complex MPLS to SD-WAN migrations and embedding Zero Trust remote-access designs (Zscaler, Prisma, Viptela, Fortinet).
• Network Automation (The core requirement): You must be highly proficient in reading, editing, and building automation code from scratch - specifically Ansible (playbooks, roles, Jinja2) and Git-based CI/CD pipelines. Python and Terraform are highly advantageous.
• Design Authority: Acting as the final technical reviewer for High-Level and Low-Level Designs (HLDs/LLDs) across the global environment.

What we're looking for:

• 8–12 years of core network engineering experience, with the last 3–5+ years operating as a senior design authority/architect.
• Background in highly regulated, complex environments (Tier-1 Banking, Hedge Funds, or mature FinTechs).
• A true engineering mindset: you solve scale and consistency problems with code, not manual CLI configurations.
