Overview

Join Waters Corporation and be part of a high-performing APAC HQ finance team driving statutory excellence and M&A integration across the region. This role offers strong ownership, regional exposure, and close collaboration with global stakeholders, auditors, and tax advisors.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end statutory reporting for assigned APAC entities, ensuring compliance with GAAP ((US/SG/JP).

  • Coordinate external audits with Big 4 firms and manage all corporate, statutory, and regulatory filings.

  • Oversee direct and indirect tax compliance (CIT, GST/VAT, WHT) and support tax audits with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strengthen financial governance through balance sheet reviews, internal controls, and SOX compliance initiatives.

  • Support month-end close, ad hoc reporting and regional finance projects.

  • Partner with regional and global teams as the key finance contact for auditors and tax advisors in a cross-cultural environment.

  • SAP S/4 HANA proficiency, advanced Excel skills, and bilingual fluency in English and Japanese.

Qualifications

Experience & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in finance controllership, statutory reporting, or audit
  • Prior experience with a Big 4 audit firm will be an advantage.
  • Experience supporting APAC entities in a multinational organization
  • CA / CPA / ACCA or equivalent qualification preferred
