Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Initiate and drive cross-functional cost saving projects to achieve corporate business goals
  • Understand short-term and long-term cost saving goals and ensure alignment to corporate business goals
  • Perform cost and schedule duties under the guidance from corporate.
  • Manages cost control to be presented to Fab GM and Senior Management.
  • Manage program / cost saving project benefit and develop key metrics / performance indices.
  • Analyze program / cost saving project progress in terms of pay-back assessment, risk, resources consumption, interdependence and gaps.
  • Define cost estimation scope, clearly document assumptions and constraints, develop costing methodologies, and align all stakeholders with the outcome.
  • Develop and implement requirements for cost recording, reporting, and analyzing standards, programs and reports, perform performance monitoring and control functions for projects.
  • Facilitate the definition of program scope, goals, deliverables, timeline and resource requirements in collaboration with sponsors and stakeholders.
  • Establish structure and manage program dependencies, prioritize programs, track program milestones and deliverables
  • Coordinate and work with the project management team to resolve project issues to ensure delivery / completion to the project work
  • Provide cost control and planning advice to the operation team when required
  • Identify potential roadblocks, develop and execute resolution plans
  • Assist in the financial closeout of cost saving projects

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, with exposure to wafer fab operations.
  • Prior experience in capacity planning, cycle time management, WIP control, and productivity optimization within a fab environment is required.
  • Strong knowledge of IE methodologies, including line balancing, bottleneck management, and cost modelling.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools and systems (e.g., JMP, SQL, Tableau/Power BI, MES such as PROMIS).
  • Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • High level of accountability, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
