Principal Engineer (Linux & Database Migration)

We are looking for a Principal Engineer who will be responsible for the installation, Configuration and Maintenance of Oracle's technologies and products. Must be proficient and have hands-on working experience on the following areas.

• Oracle Linux
• Oracle Linux Virtual Manager (OLVM) and Coriolis (if any)
• Intel x86 Servers
• Backup and Restoration
• Servers and OS Administration
• Servers Consolidation and Migration

Full time Resident Engineer providing Oracle Linux and Oracle Linux Virtual Manager L2/L3 support as follow.

1. Applying of Oracle critical patches for Oracle Linux Operating System and OLVM

2. Planning, migrating and managing OLVM

3. Perform all OLVM/system activities (related to Oracle Linux and OLVM) as required and requested.

4. Provide support for:

• VM template creation on OLVM
• OLVM design and configuration assistance.
• OLVM Support and troubleshooting assistance throughout the project timeline.
• Post-migration OLVM health verification and OLVM production support.
• Standby support during migration windows for OLVM platform issues.

5. Assist customer with automation & monitoring routines for OLVM.

6. Perform duties on supporting operational / technical aspects of the Oracle Linux and OLVM.
