Roles & Responsibilities:

• End to end product development from Advanced Development (AD) stage, Product development, Launch and Maintenance (PDLM) for domestic appliances.
• Develop an electronics hardware including requirement definition, design, implementation, testing, and documentation.
• Create products according to the specifications and electronics hardware development process.
• Create engineering documentation to comply with product development policies, practices and procedures.

Experience / Qualification:

• Bachelor degree or Master in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent with minimum of 8 years working experience in electronics appliance development.
• Able to communicate in Mandarin as this person needs to liaise on daily basis with China based suppliers.
• Good knowledge in AC to DC and DC to DC power supply circuit design.
• Able to translate design requirement to schematics design, PCBA layout, component specification and selection.
• Proficient in Altium Designer (preferred) and other ECAD tools.
• Able to conduct test & verify design against requirements, including EMC test.
• Able to apply DFSS method in design, and able to perform FMEA, de-rating and tolerance analysis for electrical design.
• Experiences in PCB layout design would be added as advantage.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skill.
• Good communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Ability to work independently or in a team, positive attitude and willing to learn.
