Job Summary
Lead and manage centre operations to deliver high-quality early childhood education. Drive curriculum development, staff mentoring, community engagement, and continuous improvement aligned with The Orange Academy's vision and values.
Responsibilities
- Manage centre operations including student recruitment, publicity, and promotional activities to increase enrolment and community awareness
- Organize special community events, excursions, and parent collaboration projects to enhance stakeholder engagement and learning experiences
- Plan and coordinate innovative projects with community partners such as Residents Committees and primary schools to foster collaboration and enrichment
- Collaborate with staff to develop and implement long-term strategic plans for centre growth and educational excellence
- Participate in appraisal procedures and in-service training to support personal, professional, and career development of staff
- Provide and receive constructive advice and guidance to improve overall school performance and outcomes
- Design, implement, coordinate, and evaluate curriculum, programmes, and lesson plans aligned with The Orange Academy's vision, mission, and core values
- Monitor and enhance curriculum quality through regular evaluations and lead professional development sessions based on research and teacher needs
- Review and mentor teachers on lesson evaluations, reflections, and children's portfolio development to ensure teaching effectiveness
- Conduct lesson observations, assessments, and analyses to identify teacher development needs and recommend appropriate training methods
- Perform opening and closing shifts on weekdays, ensuring a minimum of 44 working hours per week excluding lunch breaks
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma in Pre-school Education - Leadership (DPE-L)
- Effective communication skills across all organizational levels
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a childcare setting
