I. Position Overview

The Director, Solution Architecture serves as the technical solution lead for DeepCtrls overseas business, engaging with the technical decision-makers of global hyperscalers, data center operators, and AI infrastructure enterprises. The core mission is to deeply integrate DeepCtrls proprietary PhyAI Physical AI Engine with customer business scenarios, designing and delivering end-to-end energy efficiency solutions that are implementable and verifiable, thereby driving the scalable growth of overseas business.

This is an Individual Contributor (Director, Solution Architecture) role with no direct reports. However, the role requires deep collaboration with sales, product, R&D, and delivery teams as a technical core, serving as the critical bridge between technical capabilities and business value. The external title of Director is used to align with the seniority expected when engaging with global client executives.

The role reports directly to the Head of AI Data Center Business. While it carries no management responsibilities, it demands strong cross-functional coordination capabilities and the ability to independently drive complex projects.

II. Core Responsibilities

1. Pre-Sales Solution Design & Technical Support

Lead technical solution design for overseas clients (hyperscalers, data center operators, AI cloud service providers, etc.), covering the entire lifecycle from requirement discovery, solution architecture, POC demonstrations, to technical negotiations. Leverage the PhyAI Engine to tailor end-to-end energy optimization solutions across the grid-to-chip value chain, ensuring an optimal balance between technical feasibility and business value.

2. Technical Client Engagement

Serve as the primary interface to client technical decision-makers (CTO/CIO/VP of Technology), building deep technical trust relationships. Lead complex technical negotiations, translating DeepCtrls L4/L5 Physical AI capabilities into business value propositions that clients can understand and validate.

Directly engage with clients Operations Teams, Design Teams, and Hyperscaler technical teams. Demonstrate a deep understanding of BMS (Building Management Systems) and DCIM (Data Center Infrastructure Management) systems, including their operational logic and integration architecture across critical data center domains (power, cooling, fire protection, and monitoring). Based on clients existing BMS/DCIM architectures, precisely identify the overlay value and integration pathways for the PhyAI Engine, ensuring solutions achieve the optimal balance between technical viability and commercial value.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Influence

Work closely with product, R&D, sales, and delivery teams to ensure smooth technical solution implementation during the delivery phase. Act as the technical ears of the overseas market, systematically feeding client requirements, industry trends, and competitive intelligence back to product and R&D teams to drive product iteration and capability enhancement of the PhyAI platform.

4. Global Support & Travel

Based in Singapore, travel to target markets including APAC, the Middle East, and North America as business needs arise to support on-site technical solution discussions and delivery. Must be able to adapt to cross-time-zone and cross-cultural working environments and independently engage with global clients.

5. Product & Marketing Event Coordination and Brand Support

Collaborate closely with product and marketing teams to support industry events, technical seminars, and brand activities in the overseas region. Participate in content co-creation and event promotion, acting as a technical communication bridge in external events to support the continuous build-out of DeepCtrls brand presence in overseas markets.

III. Requirements

1. Education Background

Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, Energy Engineering, HVAC, or related STEM fields preferred. MBA or Master's degree preferred.

2. Work Experience

5+ years of experience in solution architecture, pre-sales engineering, or technology consulting

At least 3 years of pre-sales solution design experience in data centers, AI infrastructure, or industrial energy efficiency

Proven track record of independently leading complex project technical delivery and presenting to senior client executives

3. Technical Skills

Knowledge of Physical AI, industrial AI, or AI-driven energy optimization technologies preferred

Familiarity with energy efficiency management frameworks (PUE, DCiE) and the operating principles of BMS/DCIM systems; ability to independently produce high-quality business-grade PPT presentations and technical proposal documents

Deep understanding of data center infrastructure architecture, including power architecture (UPS, HVDC), cooling architecture (air-cooled/liquid-cooled), and redundancy design (N/N+1/2N)

Familiarity with the technology stack and energy consumption characteristics of AI computing infrastructure (GPU clusters, HPC, AI factories)

Familiarity with the NVIDIA GPU ecosystem (DGX, HGX, Blackwell/Vera Rubin, etc.) preferred

4. Soft Skills

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage C-level technical decision-makers of global clients in English

Deep understanding of both Western and Chinese business cultures and communication styles, with the ability to effectively drive work in multicultural environments

Strong client needs discovery and solution design capabilities

Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced, high-uncertainty environment

6. Language Requirements

Fluent in English (required) for technical presentations and business negotiations

Fluent in Mandarin (required) for effective communication with headquarters R&D team in China
