Job Description:
The role of a Container Trucking Master is to operate Prime Movers to transport containers from Wharf to Yard (Vice-versa) in PSA Container terminal.
Job Duties:
- Conduct Pre-Op and Post-Op checks
- Comply to PSA traffic/safety rules, Procedures and systems
- Communicate with operational groups
- Operating Prime Mover PC
- Mounting and Un-Mounting of containers safely
- Refueling the Prime Mover
- Prepare the vehicle for handover
- Comply with Workplace and Health safety regulations
Job roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for safe loading and unloading of containers from the vessels
- Ensure goods are loaded and
- secured onto the vehicle before moving off
- To avoid/prevent possibilities of incidents/accidents and comply to safety regulations
- Ensure correct containers are being loaded by checking the container number
- Ensure to deliver the containers on time from point to point
- Ensure vehicle cleanliness and hygiene
- To report any damages/incidents to superior immediately
- To attend toolbox briefing prior to commencement of work
- Perform all instructions and duties briefed by direct superior
- To comply with the Company's Standard Operating procedures (SOPs)
- Observe and comply to all Workplace Safety Standards, Protocols, Duties, and Responsibilities in accordance with the workplace/department you are going to work in
Requirements:
PSLE English Grade C or WPLN (Reading, Listening, Numeracy) Level 4
