Prime Brokerage Sales
Our client, a global bank is seeking an experienced Prime Brokerage Sales professional to drive FX-focused solutions for Financial Institution (FI) clients, including banks, hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, asset managers, and non-bank financial institutions. The role focuses on delivering FX prime brokerage, liquidity, financing, and risk management solutions, while expanding wallet share across the institutional client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with FI clients, including hedge funds, asset managers, proprietary trading firms, and financial institutions.
- Originate and grow FX prime services business, including FX execution, clearing, financing, margining, and collateral solutions.
- Partner with FX trading, prime brokerage, risk, and operations teams to deliver seamless execution and post-trade services.
- Identify client trading needs and structure tailored FX liquidity and financing solutions aligned with risk and regulatory frameworks.
- Drive client onboarding, including KYC, legal documentation (ISDA, PB agreements), and account setup in coordination with internal stakeholders.
- Monitor client activity, revenues, and balance sheet usage, ensuring efficient allocation of capital and risk.
- Track market trends, client flows, and competitive dynamics to identify new business opportunities.
- Maintain strong knowledge of regulatory requirements impacting FX prime services and institutional trading.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 712+ years of experience in FX sales, prime brokerage, or institutional markets, with a strong focus on FI clients.
- Proven experience covering hedge funds, asset managers, proprietary trading firms, or banks in an FX-focused role.
- Strong understanding of FX market structure, liquidity provision, margining, financing, and collateral management.
- Experience working within a global bank or regulated financial institution.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across trading, risk, legal, compliance, and operations teams.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills; ability to engage senior decision-makers.
