What You'll Do
The primary function of the CPC Pricing Manager is to act as the price governance owner and final pricing authority for CPC (Circuit Protection and Controlling) products across assigned countries. The role ensures price integrity, margin protection, and disciplined execution of pricing strategy by controlling list prices, discounts, and Special Price Approvals (SPA), while translating cost changes into effective market‑level pricing actions and supporting strategic project bids
Own CPC price governance across assigned countries/regions
- Decide and control list price, net price, and discount structure
- Implement annual and ad hoc price adjustments driven by cost inflation
- Enforce SPA (Special Price Approval) controls
SPA (Special Price Approval) Management
- Review costing, gross margin, delta price, and commercial risk
- Escalate exceptional cases (e.g. negative margin, strategic projects)
- Act as the final pricing gatekeeper for sales teams
Price Strategy & Execution
- Translate cost increases into country level CPC pricing actions
- Drive price increases by product line and country, with timing control to prevent advance orders
Commercial partner to Sales & BD
- Support large project pricing (Data Center, industrial projects)
- Advise Sales Managers on price positioning vs competitors
- Coordinate closely with Country Sales Managers (e.g. CPC Sales Manager MY)
Pricing execution & systems
- Ensure price accuracy in SPA, C360, SAP, and pricing tools
- Place pricing on hold / release when costing errors or changes are detected
Qualifications
Electrical Engineering degree
5 years or more experience in Electrical industrial
Skills
Good knowledge of electrical components, particularly low‑voltage products such as circuit breakers and contactors, with the ability to understand product configuration, cost drivers, and their impact on pricing, margin, and commercial decisions in project and SPA evaluations.
1. Strong commercial judgment and decision making, with confidence to approve/reject SPA requests and protect margin
- Effective stakeholder management and communication, able to work closely with sales and country teams while enforcing pricing discipline
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills to assess costing, margin, and commercial risk
- High level of integrity, resilience, and accountability as final pricing gatekeeper
