YOUR ROLE
The incumbent will be part of Project Logistics department in providing seamless and customer-focused solutions to support the achievement of business objectives.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO
Main areas of focus and accountability of the role – detail in order of importance the main areas of accountability of the role:
- Review, Analyse and Interpret Tender documents (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs) to identify requirements, risks and deliverables
- Coordinate Tender / RFQ timelines and ensure on-Time submission for all tender/ RFQ deliverables
- Maintain a database of tender/ RFQ submissions with outcomes and Feedback from customers (internal/External). Proactively follow up RFQs/ Tenders outcome and communicate with customers (Internal/ customers) to Analyze and improve the success ratio
- Prepare competitive pricing proposals aligned with company strategy and margin targets Ensure all Tenders / RFQs comply with customer requirements and company policies Coordinate rate sourcing with procurement for IG, Chartering desk or source out some direct rates with approved vendors for Out of Gauge cargo according to the procedures in place
- Ensure Pricing accuracy and Adherence to Internal approval workflows
- Support contract negotiations and commercial clarifications where required
- Identify opportunities to improve tender and RFQ processes, templates and tools
- Collaborate closely with sales, Procurement, Operation, finance and legal teams
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
Essential
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
- Must be able to work independently and as well as a team player.
- Minimum 3 years Experience in Freight Forwarding (sea freight and Airfreight)
- Strong Analytical and Numerical Skills
- High Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Commercial and financial acumen.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent Written communication and document preparation abilities
- Collaborative teamwork and stakeholder management.
Desirable
- Air freight / Sea freight forwarding experience preferred
- Projects Experience is a plus
- Strong analytical, conceptualization and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with pricing tools is an advantage.
- Industry Expertise (projects and / or Energy)
- DG Certification (IATA/IMDG), DG Knowledge
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
