We are seeking a Preventive Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) to be stationed at customer sites. The role involves carrying out scheduled preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring equipment operates reliably with minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance at customer sites according to maintenance schedules
- Inspect, service, and repair mechanical equipment and machinery
- Troubleshoot mechanical faults and carry out corrective actions
- Prepare maintenance reports and service records
- Liaise with customers regarding maintenance activities and technical issues
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and site regulations
- Support emergency breakdown maintenance when required
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years relevant working experience
- Hands-on experience with mechanical equipment, motors, bearings, pumps, or industrial machinery
- Able to read and understand mechanical drawings
- Responsible, independent, and good communication skills
