Preschool Teacher (EY2)

Key Responsibilities

Child Development & Care

. Observe and respond to children's individual needs, milestones, and interests.

. Provide daily caregiving routines (feeding, diapering, resting, hygiene) with sensitivity and respect.

. Ensure a safe, secure, and healthy environment that promotes exploration and independence.

Learning & Curriculum

. Implement developmentally appropriate curricula aligned with the Early Years Development Framework (EYDF).

. Plan and carry out engaging activities across key domains (cognitive, physical, language, social-emotional).

. Facilitate inquiry-based and play-based learning experiences that nurture curiosity.

Collaboration & Relationships

. Build respectful, responsive, and reciprocal relationships with children.

. Partner with families to support children's development and learning.

. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive team culture.

Professional Development & Practice

. Uphold professional ethics and positive role-modelling.

. Engage in reflective practice and continuous professional development.

. Ensure compliance with ECDA standards, safety, and health regulations.
