Support lead teachers by assisting in daily child care activities and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment for children.
Responsibilities
- Assist in performing daily child care tasks to support lead teachers in managing children's needs
- Collaborate with lead teachers to ensure children receive attentive and safe supervision
- Maintain a safe and conducive environment by monitoring and addressing potential hazards around children
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team to support classroom operations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Hold a minimum Fundamental Certificate or equivalent Early Childhood Education certification
- Communicate clearly and effectively to support children's care and team coordination
- Demonstrate a strong passion for nurturing young children and maintaining their safety
- Exhibit the ability to work collaboratively with others and independently when required
