Preschool English Teacher / Early Childhood Educator

Key Responsibilities

• Provide children with high-quality play-based, inquiry-based, and exploratory learning experiences.

• Implement a STEAM-focused curriculum to encourage curiosity, creativity, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Create a safe, supportive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.

• Manage classroom routines, behaviour, transitions, and learning activities effectively.

• Regularly observe and assess each child's learning progress, strengths, and areas for improvement.

• Maintain accurate learning records and documentation.

• Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's learning progress, development, and well-being.

• Work closely with parents to support children's learning both in school and at home.

• Collaborate effectively with fellow teachers, assistant teachers, and support staff.

• Participate in school events, lesson planning, meetings, and professional development when required.

Requirements

• Minimum L2 certification is required.

• Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education - Teaching (DPE-T) or equivalent.

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) is preferred.

• Relevant working experience with young children.

• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.

• Good classroom management skills.

• Patient, creative, responsible, caring, and passionate about early childhood education.

• Able to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

• Comfortable implementing play-based and STEAM-related learning activities.
