Proposal & Solution Development
- Review customer requirements, RFQs, and technical specifications.
- Develop practical technical solutions with guidance from senior engineers when required.
- Prepare technical proposals, scope of work, assumptions, exclusions, and compliance documents.
- Coordinate proposal preparation with Sales, Engineering, Product Management, and other stakeholders.
Customer Technical Support
- Participate in customer meetings, workshops, and technical discussions.
- Conduct technical presentations and solution demonstrations.
- Support technical clarification activities, including RFIs, TQs, and customer queries.
- Build strong technical relationships with customers, partners, and regional affiliates.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Engineering, and Product teams to deliver competitive solutions.
- Support project handover after contract award.
- Contribute to proposal quality improvement by sharing knowledge and lessons learned.
Professional Development
- Continuously develop technical, commercial, and customer engagement skills.
- Stay updated with company products, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
- Develop the capability to become a trusted Solution Consultant and customer advisor.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Instrumentation, Automation, Computer, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in industrial automation, system engineering, application engineering, commissioning, project engineering, pre-sales, or related technical roles.
- Experience with DCS, SCADA, MES, industrial software, system integration, or terminal/logistics automation is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of industrial automation systems and process industries.
- Ability to analyse technical requirements and develop practical solutions.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings, workshops, and site visits.
- Candidates with less experience but strong technical aptitude and customer-facing potential are also encouraged to apply.
