Our client is a leading Solutions Provider and Distributor focused on providing Data-comm & Enterprise Solutions, Test and Measurement Solutions, Wireless Engineering and Wireless Broadband Solutions.
As a Pre-Sales Consultant you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between IT/ networking solutions and its prospective clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide presales technical support on network solutions and to participate in the bid/ tender process.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand client requirements.
- Conduct in-depth needs assessments and perform a technical lead role in the review and response of RFP/RFI documentation.
- Conduct/ Lead in technical presentation and/or tender clarification of solution design, configuration and interoperability of different IT/IP Solutions proposed.
- Perform proof of concepts (POCs) and early engagement with customers in selling network solutions
- Ensure an appropriate and efficient handover from pre-sales to the operation/delivery teams.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a pre-sales or technical sales role, preferably within the SI/ Information & Communication Technology industry
- Preferred to have at least 5 -10 years of related pre-sales working experience in IT networking, IP Network Infra and IT security projects.
- Preferably with Cisco or Huawei certification (CCNP/CCIE/ HCIP/ HCIE) and above and Network security products.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with a keen eye for detail
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a technical or business-related field in government agencies, such as healthcare institutions/ commercial/ transportation.
