We are seeking a Solution Architect (Hybrid IT -Services Led) to drive solutioning for enterprise customers across infrastructure and operations transformation initiatives. This role focuses on designing and positioning end-to-end Hybrid IT solutions that integrate on-premises, private cloud, and public cloud environments, enhanced with AIOps and automation capabilities to enable intelligent, scalable, and efficient IT operations.
The candidate will play a key role in presales engagements, working closely with Sales, Consulting, and Service Line teams to shape solutions that are technically robust, operationally viable, and commercially competitive.
Job Scope:
Strategy & Leadership
- Lead the recommendation, development, and implementation of the company's Hybrid IT technology strategy and roadmap.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and provide strategic recommendations to drive innovation and adoption.
- Conduct technology assessments to identify gaps and opportunities to enhance the organization's IT landscape.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to architecture, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure successful solution implementation.
Presales & Solutioning
- Engage customers throughout presales cycles to understand business objectives, current IT landscape, constraints, and transformation goals.
- Support RFP/RFI/RFQ responses with high-quality technical inputs, architecture diagrams, and compelling solution narratives.
- Contribute to pricing strategies by aligning solution architectures with cost models, licensing, and commercial considerations.
- Articulate clear value propositions, including cost optimization, risk reduction, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Support internal governance processes, including proposal reviews and solution signoffs.
Architecture & Design
- Design end-to-end Hybrid IT architectures across:
- On-premises data centers (compute, storage, backup, disaster recovery)
- Private cloud and virtualization platforms
- Public cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP), including landing zones and workload design
- Network, connectivity, identity, and security integration
- Define target-state architectures, transition strategies, and key assumptions.
- Develop architectural frameworks, standards, and models to guide solution design and delivery.
- Ensure all solutions are scalable, secure, resilient, and aligned with industry best practices.
Stakeholder & Delivery Collaboration
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather and define business and technical requirements.
- Conduct and facilitate discovery workshops covering infrastructure, cloud, network, security, workplace, and IT operations domains.
- Work closely with delivery teams to ensure alignment between solution design and implementation outcomes.
- Partner with governance, risk, and compliance teams to define and implement data governance and information security policies.
Skillsets & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information & communication technology (ICT), Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting complex IT systems and large-scale ICT solutions, with a focus on Cloud and/or Hybrid IT architecture.
- Strong understanding of on-premises ICT architectures, including integration patterns, infrastructure design, and best practices for building scalable and high-performance systems.
- Familiarity with government and enterprise frameworks and standards (e.g., GCC 2.0), including compliance and security requirements.
- Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Microsoft Azure, including cloud architecture principles, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), cloud security best practices, and cost optimization strategies.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and build strong stakeholder relationships.
