As a Presales Architect (Cloud Managed Services), you will play a critical role in shaping high-impact IT solutions for clients by translating business needs into tailored, scalable cloud and managed service offerings. You will partner closely with sales teams, delivery units, and clients to design end-to-end solutions that address strategic IT challenges, ensuring technical feasibility, cost-efficiency, and alignment with industry best practices. This role bridges the gap between client vision and execution, combining technical architecture skills with business acumen.

What will you do

  • Engage with customers in the commercial sector to understand business drivers, technical requirements, and operational challenges to craft tailored managed service and cloud architecture solutions.
  • Lead presales activities including requirement gathering, solution design, presentation, proposal development, and contract support across all industry verticals.
  • Partner with account managers and business development teams to support the technical qualification of opportunities and develop winning solution strategies.
  • Design and propose comprehensive managed services solutions, covering: Cloud Operations (AWS, Azure, GCP), AIOps, ITSM and monitoring platforms, Hybrid cloud & infrastructure modernization, Endpoint management, NOC/SOC services, and more.
  • Conduct technical workshops, discovery sessions, and deep-dive architecture reviews with client stakeholders including C-level and IT operations teams.
  • Collaborate with the solutioning, pricing, and delivery teams to shape cost-effective and scalable services offerings that are aligned with internal capabilities and client expectations.
  • Drive bid management for complex opportunities, ensuring technical accuracy, risk mitigation, and competitive differentiation in proposals.
  • Lead solution walkthroughs and presentations during the RFP/RFI processes, ensuring strong alignment with client objectives.
  • Stay updated on market trends and emerging technologies in the managed services and cloud ecosystem to ensure our offerings remain differentiated.
  • Support internal portfolio development and go-to-market strategies by providing field feedback and market intelligence.
  • Participate in partner solution alignment, leveraging hyperscaler and vendor capabilities to enhance our overall cloud and managed services offerings.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • 7-12 years of experience in IT infrastructure, presales, or solution architecture, specifically in Managed Services and Cloud Operations.
  • Proven ability to design and present end-to-end solutions in a presales capacity, especially in large or complex IT transformation deals.
  • Deep technical expertise in: Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), AIOps, CloudOps, ITSM, monitoring and automation tools, NOC/SOC operations, and modern IT support frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of service management frameworks (ITIL) and tools (ServiceNow, etc.).
  • Experienced in bid management and solution documentation for RFPs/RFIs.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills - with the ability to influence both technical and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional environments, coordinating between internal teams (sales, delivery, product, and pricing) and external partners.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Industry certifications (e.g., AWS/Azure/GCP Architect, ITIL) are a plus.
