Precious Metals Sales Dealer / Junior Trader

Aurex Group have been mandated by an international bullion and precious metals integrated trader and asset owning organization to hire a junior trader to work as part as a global trading team.

For this role, the client is looking for someone with an understanding of commodities in terms of hedging, trade, sales etc, but we do not necessarily need someone directly from the precious metals markets.

This is an opportunity for a young and ambitious commercially minded individual to come in and learn about the global gold and precious metals market.

Note that the office is NOT based in the CBD.

Key responsibilities:

1. Quoting and pricing customer requests
2. Daily cash flow preparation and management
3. Monitoring customer exposure and risk management
4. Handling bank compliance matters
5. Preparation and submission of management papers for margin trading
6. Drafting and reviewing legal documentation
7. Other ad hoc duties as required
