Job Scope
- Cleans classroom, toilets, common areas ,office, reception, parents area, windows, doors, fans, shelves, cabinet, shoe racks, cubbies, children's tables and chairs (including dining area)
- Cleans floor rugs, art and craft area, and soft covers
- Cleans area if children soil themselves
- Clears rubbish from classroom/office
- Washing of dishes
- Maintain and stock-take cleaning supplies
- Assist in kitchen when needed
- Prepare simple meals when needed
Requirement
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a childcare setting, demonstrating competence in cooking and maintaining cleanliness.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene practices, and proper cleaning techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with young children and adapt to their needs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with childcare center staff.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving around the childcare center.
- Certificate in Food Handling and Safety.
