Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Pre-SalesTechnical Engineer (LED Systems) to support design, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of LED display systems. This role is highlytechnical, involving hardware-level work, circuit analysis, and on-site projectsupport to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
Role Description
- Provide technical support for project execution, including design validation, system integration, and implementation onsite.
- Develop and review technical drawings, schematics, and product datasheets.
- Support tender technical evaluation and solution development.
- Perform on-site technical supervision, system setup, testing and commissioning on LED controller system.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot LED display systems, including modules, PCBs, system connection and display error.
- Execute hardware repair, including PCBA rework, component replacement, and soldering.
- Ensure proper documentation of quality control records, inspection reports, and repair logs.
Qualifications
- Candidates with experience as an AV Technical Engineer will have an added advantage.
- Understanding of analog and digital circuits, including component behaviour and signal flow
- Hands-on experience with PCB troubleshooting, soldering, and hardware repair
- Experience with technical drawings and schematic tools (e.g., AutoCAD) is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Self-motivated, with a strong willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation and reporting
- Willingness to perform hands-on repair tasks during the initial probation period
- Willing to travel outstation & oversea
- Able to provide on-site support and respond to urgent technical issues, including weekends or public holidays when required
