Pre-Sales Consultant

We're looking for a Pre-Sales Consultant to be the technical bridge between our clients and our platform across US, UK and AU. You'll work directly with prospects to understand their operational, safety, and security challenges, translate them into solutions built on Ailytics, and prove value through demos, POCs, and pilot deployments. You'll be the technical voice of the customer inside the company, working closely with sales, product, engineering, and marketing.

As the first pre-sales hire covering these regions, you'll have high autonomy and the chance to shape the process. Supporting these regions requires flexibility and strong async communication. We value ownership and flexibility over rigid schedules, and this role is best suited to someone motivated by impact.

This role requires working US Eastern Time (ET) business hours, approximately 9:00 AM–5:00 PM ET. Note that the UTC equivalent shifts by one hour seasonally with US daylight saving (roughly 1:00–9:00 PM UTC in summer, 2:00–10:00 PM UTC in winter)

What You Will Be Doing

• Engage prospects to understand their operational challenges, camera setups, and safety/security goals, and run site assessments and discovery sessions to capture technical and business requirements.
• Prepare and deliver product demos, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and pilot deployments, collaborating with product and engineering to validate and refine technical feasibility.
• Support sales with technical proposals, tender and bid responses, presentations, and technical inputs for commercial quotations.
• Act as the technical voice of the customer, feeding structured feedback into the product roadmap, spotting upsell and cross-sell opportunities from operational analytics, and supporting marketing on case studies and customer success materials.
• Represent Ailytics at client meetings, exhibitions, and technology demonstrations, and build and maintain the pre-sales best-practices playbook, processes, and templates.

Our Ideal Requirements

• Proven experience in pre-sales, solutions engineering, sales engineering, or technical consulting, ideally in B2B SaaS, video analytics, computer vision, IoT, or industrial technology.
• Solid understanding of camera/CCTV systems and video infrastructure, plus the ability to explain AI/ML and video analytics concepts clearly to both technical and business audiences.
• A track record of running technical discovery, demos, and POCs/pilots with enterprise or industrial clients.
• Willingness to travel and to work flexibly across US, UK, and AU time zones.
• Strong commercial acumen, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the self-direction to own a wide territory.
