We are seeking a Power Platform Architect to lead the design, governance, and implementation of enterprise-grade business solutions using Microsoft PowerPlatform. The role requires deep expertise across the full solution lifecycle, including solution architecture, integration strategy, data modelling, security, AI-enabled capabilities, governance, deployment, and monitoring.
This position works closely with business stakeholders, IT, and enterprise architects to define standards, best practices, and scalable solutions across the organisation.
Solution Architecture and Design
- Define Power Platform architecture anddesign patterns for business applications and automation following enterprise-wide strategy and best practices.
- Lead the design of complex solutionsleveraging Power Apps, Power Automate, and integrated Microsoft 365 services.
- Develop scalable, maintainable, and secure data models using Dataverse, SharePoint, and other approved data sources.
- Establish guidelines for UI/UX consistency, performance, and maintainability.
AI and Advanced Capabilities
- Design and implement AI-enabled solutions, including prompt engineering and agentic capabilities, to support business processes and decision-making.
- Apply hands-on AI design using Microsoft AI services, ensuring outputs are accurate, relevant, and compliantwith organisational policies.
- Define standards and best practicesfor AI integration, while actively contributing to AI solution build, testing, and refinement.
Integration and Governance
- Lead the design of integration patterns and architecture across Microsoft 365 services and approved third-party systems using standard connectors.
- Define scalable, maintainable, and secure integration approaches that support enterprise business processes.
- Establish solution governance frameworks covering security, access control, compliance, and environment management.
- Collaborate with IT and enterprise architecture teams to ensure integrations align with organisational standards and best practices.
Delivery Oversight and Quality Assurance
- Oversee solution delivery across projects, ensuring adherence to architecture standards.
- Define testing strategies including system integration and user acceptance testing, and review test plans for completeness.
- Provide oversight for deployment and environment management, including monitoring production performance and operational metrics.
Documentation, Knowledge Sharing, and Mentorship
- Develop and maintain architecture/technical documentation, standards, and guidelines for Power Platform solutions.
- Conduct knowledge transfer and mentor Power Platform engineers and development teams.
- Promote best practices and continuous improvement across the Power Platform practice.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of experience designing, delivering, and architecting enterprise solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
- Proven ability to define architecture, integration strategy, and solution standards for production-grade applications.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing AI-enabled solutions, including prompt engineering and agentic capabilities, using Microsoft AI services.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem and integration using standard/premium connectors.
- Experience in data modelling, security, and access control within enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated experience in solution governance, compliance, and environment management.
- Ability to take end-to-end ownership of solution delivery across multiple projects and teams.
