Power BI Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports
• Transform complex datasets into meaningful visual insights
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand and translate requirements
• Optimize dashboards for performance, scalability, and usability
• Implement data security measures including RLS
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain Power BI solutions
• Integrate Power BI with Oracle, Excel, and other data sources
• Support endusers and conduct training where required
• Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices
• Document dashboards, processes, and data flows

About the Role

Primary Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of handson experience with Power BI, DAX, and Power Query
• Strong knowledge of data modeling (star schema, fact/dimension tables)
• Experience integrating Power BI with Oracle, Excel, and other sources
• Ability to manage multiple parallel projects and meet deadlines
• Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
• Domain knowledge in insurance functions (underwriting, claims, actuarial, finance)
• Experience with reinsurance analytics is a strong advantage

Required Skills
