NTUitive is supporting a planned spin-off built on research from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA), focused on advanced technology for printed circuit board recycling.
We are seeking an entrepreneurial individual to work with the research team during the pre-spin-off stage and help build the commercial pathway for a future venture in advanced recycling and resource recovery.
This is not a paid employee role at the outset. It is an early-stage opportunity for someone who wants to engage hands-on with a strong technical platform and potentially transition into a commercial co-founder role when the spin-off is formed.
What you will help drive
You will work closely with the research team and relevant stakeholders to support the commercial development of the opportunity, including:
- evaluating market opportunities and priority customer segments
- refining the value proposition and business model
- shaping go-to-market strategy and partnership pathways
- identifying pilot opportunities, early adopters, and strategic collaborators
- supporting fundraising strategy across grants, venture capital, strategic investors, and other financing routes
- helping craft investor materials, commercial narrative, and spin-off positioning
- contributing to company formation planning and early venture-building activity
Desired profile
- Proven experience in relevant environments such as startups, technology transfer, commercialisation, go-to-market strategy, product launching, or investor pitching
- Familiarity with fundraising mechanisms, including grants, venture capital, strategic investors, and public or private financing schemes
- Fluent in English; French and/or Mandarin would be a plus
- Strong motivation to develop the business in Singapore and internationally
- Technical awareness in x-ray technology, metal recovery, hydrometallurgy, and/or computer vision would be an asset, though it is not required
