Postdoctoral Researcher

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to work on collaborative research projects on improving reproductive health.

Responsibilities:

Process clinical samples including RNA, DNA extraction, microbiome isolation

Isolate and perform primary cell cultures, directed organoid differentiation

Functional analyses using mammalian cells and organoids via CRISPR-Cas9 technology, molecular and cell biology techniques

cDNA library preparation for NGS, bioinformatic analysis

Analyze clinical and cellular/molecular data to draw associations

Assist in manuscript and grant writing, discussion and coordination with external collaborators, including presentation and organizing meetings

Requirements:

PhD in Biological Sciences or related fields

Expertise in mammalian cell culture work and basic molecular biology (RNA extraction, RT-PCR, qPCR etc)

Expertise in organoid culture and differentiation and mutagenesis via CRISPR-Cas9 technology

Expertise in cDNA library preparation for NGS and downstream bioinformatic analysis

Prior experience in handling clinical samples (eg. Cells, blood, human milk)

Meticulous, organized, independent and able to work collaboratively
