Job Summary:
Responsible for developing and supporting the overall marketplace performance and growth of the Company's Molecular Diagnostics product portfolio.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Manage existing accounts as well as build and maintain new accounts.
2. Maintaining regular contact with existing customers and potential customers via phone, email and direct face-to-face meetings.
3. Generate leads, qualify and secure new business opportunities and close the sale.
4. Prepare and make sales presentations and structure quality sales proposals.
Education & Experience:
Diploma or Degree in any field. A medical/life science background or prior sales experience in a clinical, pharmaceutical, or diagnostics environment will be advantageous.
Skills:
1. A strong ability to communicate and to plan and execute sales plans.
2. The ability to deliver technical and commercial presentations.
3. Strong executive presence and professional image with the personality, drive and enthusiasm to succeed and achieve.
4. Must be able to work both independently and be comfortable in a highly collaborative team environment.
