Post-Fixture Executive (Shipbroker)

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all post-fixture matters following the conclusion of fixtures.

• Liaise with shipowners, charterers, brokers, and port agents on operational matters.

• Monitor voyage progress and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.

• Review and manage Charter Party terms, fixture recaps, and voyage instructions.

• Prepare and check shipping documents including NOR, SOF, Bills of Lading, and CP documentation.

• Assist with laytime calculations, demurrage/despatch, and freight settlements.

• Maintain accurate records of fixtures, documentation, and operational updates.

Requirements

• Degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Logistics, or related field.

• 2-5 years of experience in shipbroking operations or post-fixture roles.

• Knowledge of charter party terms, laytime calculations, and voyage operations.

• Strong communication and coordination skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
