Job Description

About the Role

Support the senior finance leadership team through the portfolio management function on strategic scenario planning, tracking of portfolio valuation, identification of funding gaps, simulation of projected returns, assessment of new investment opportunities, and other ad-hoc projects as required.

Key tasks include:

  • Operate, maintain and update the portfolio model to track portfolio performance.
  • Partner with finance planning teams to incorporate budget and forecast inputs and ensure consistent updating of business-as-usual data in the portfolio model.
  • Work with team members to prepare presentations and analysis materials for senior management.
  • Develop and update growth plans with strategy and business stakeholders for annual budgeting and strategic planning/review cycles.
  • Perform periodic internal valuation and review external valuation analyses to identify opportunities to enhance business value.
  • Track results and key events of relevant global peers, and summarize key takeaways for management on a regular basis.
  • Participate in the review of new investment business cases from a portfolio returns and finance assurance perspective.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent in related field with at least 2 years of relevant work experience.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrate strong skills in financial modeling and analysis, with a thorough understanding of financial statements and valuation methods.
  • Proficient in MS Officeespecially Excel (including Power Query and Power Pivot), Power BI (capable of developing and maintaining data models, and creating presentation dashboards), and PowerPoint.
  • Have a solid grasp of accounting principles and consolidation concepts.
  • Pay careful attention to detail and ensure accuracy in all output.
  • Capable of leveraging AI tools to improve results.
  • Self-driven and proactive, able to take initiative, work independently, and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Able to perform effectively in a fast-moving environment, even under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic and a positive, problem-solving attitude towards challenging tasks.
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
