Portfolio Manager, Private Credit

A reputable with strong Asian focused asset management organisation is hiring a Portfolio Manager, Private Credit in Singapore. Only candidates currently working in Singapore will be considered!

Responsibilities:-

• Originate primary fund, co-investment, and secondary market opportunities by building and maintaining deep networks with top-tier Private Credit fund managers. Actively monitor the market landscape and investment pipeline.
• Design, execute, and refine Private Credit investment strategies. Construct and actively manage portfolios to consistently outperform internal benchmarks on a risk-adjusted basis.
• Spearhead the full underwriting process for primary funds, co-investments, and secondaries (including SMAs and fund-of-one structures). Lead credit/risk assessments, manager evaluations, structural design, commercial negotiations, tax/legal/operational reviews, and investment committee approvals.
• Oversee existing assets through systematic financial reviews and regular GP engagement. Manage day-to-day fund-of-funds operations, including capital calls, distributions, consent requests, and cash flow/exposure forecasting.
• Drive continuous improvement across investment and compliance workflows by implementing advanced tech solutions and institutional best practices.
• Provide strategic direction, professional development, and mentorship to junior analysts within the team.

Required Skills:-

• At least 8 years and up till 15 years of institutional investment experience, with a strong preference for a proven track record in Private Credit or Private Equity fund-of-funds, secondaries, or direct investments.
• University degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. CFA or CAIA charters are highly preferred.
• Advanced quantitative analysis and financial modeling capabilities.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint is required; experience with institutional platforms (eFront, iLevel, Aladdin, Bloomberg) or Python is highly advantageous
• Effective, clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven capability to deliver high-quality, high-accuracy work under tight timelines in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
