Portfolio Manager - Commercial Card Products

We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to help shape and grow a commercial payments portfolio for a leading financial services organization.

The successful candidate will lead product strategy, portfolio performance management, customer proposition development, and growth initiatives across business card products. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial cards, portfolio economics, customer behavior, and payments innovation.

As the Portfolio Manager, you will:

• Define and execute commercial card product strategy and roadmap.
• Manage portfolio performance, profitability, and growth initiatives.
• Analyze acquisition, activation, spend, retention, and revenue metrics.
• Develop customer value propositions and product enhancements.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Risk, Operations, and Technology teams.
• Drive product launches, portfolio optimization programs, and customer engagement initiatives.
• Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

An ideal candidate must have:

• 7–10+ years of experience in cards, payments, transaction banking, or product management.
• Strong knowledge of commercial card products and portfolio management.
• Experience managing card P&L, pricing, and portfolio economics.
• Demonstrated success leading product launches and growth initiatives.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and execution skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Analytics, or related field.

Preferred Experience

• SME, commercial, or corporate banking products.
• B2B payments, virtual cards, and expense management solutions.
• Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar analytical tools.
• Experience within a bank, payment network, fintech, processor, or consulting environment.

This is a highly visible consulting engagement where you will influence product strategy, portfolio growth, customer experience, and commercial performance while working alongside senior leaders in the payments industry.
